The post holder will work within the Production Department and, as such, is expected to make a positive contribution to the development of the Lighting Department, Production Department and to the success of the company as a whole. 1. At least 2 years' experience in a lighting department within the performing arts industry. Responsible, under the supervision of the Chief Electrician, for the provision of lighting services and to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient running of all lighting aspects of DRSDT's productions. 3. Working knowledge of common electrical lighting practice in a theatre setting.
4. Experience in interpreting and working with technical drawings.
5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Job Responsibilities
Lighting desk programming and operation (ETC EOS family) for in-house productions and visiting companies.
Rigging and focusing lighting fixtures and other equipment for in-house and visiting productions.
Operation of lighting on tour or transferred productions may be required.
