The role of London Support Worker involves supporting the weekly sessions - these run on Wednesdays during term time. You would be required to work from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, in addition to up to 1 hour a week before or after the session to pick up on any urgent pastoral care between sessions or communications with performers. The role will also cover additional hours supporting events and Streetwise Plus sessions, which can include supporting performers during theatre trips, cultural events, visiting exhibitions and taking part in creative skills development workshops. At present, this role will cover the current support worker role as needed, and sessions will therefore be booked on an ad hoc basis. However, there may be opportunities for more regular hours in the future, depending on organisational needs. You will work in collaboration with a dedicated team, supporting individuals to participate in singing and creative sessions, enabling participants' self-expression within the principles of our values. Weekly Streetwise Sessions take place at The Old Vic Theatre. Streetwise Plus trips will take place across a variety of cultural venues in London. Engagement expected to run from April 2026 to March 2027. More in the Job Pack. Closing date for applications: Friday 13 March, 4:00pm. We will guarantee an interview to candidates who have lived experience of homelessness and meet the essential criteria in the ‘About you’ section above. If you regard yourself as someone who has this lived experience, please also indicate this on the application form where indicated. Please state if you require any reasonable adjustments to be made with regards to an interview on this on the application form where indicated.Job Summary
