Job Summary

We’re looking for a Marketing and Audience Development Officer to join our small, collaborative team.

Job Description

This is a hands-on role where you'll help connect people with our work through thoughtful, accessible communications. You'll create content across digital, print, newsletters and in-person activity, helping us reach new audiences and deepen relationships with the communities we work with.

You'll lead specific projects and support the Head of Marketing and Communications on wider campaigns. The role blends marketing, communications and community engagement, with opportunities to experiment, learn and see the direct impact of your work.

You'll be part of a small team where ideas are shared, collaboration is encouraged, and everyone contributes to shaping how we connect with our communities.

Job Requirements

We're looking for someone who is organised, creative and enjoys working with people.

You might already work in marketing or communications, or have experience in audience development or community engagement. Most importantly, you'll be interested in how thoughtful communications can help connect people with culture.

You'll bring:

Professional experience in marketing, communications or audience development and/or relevant qualification

Strong content creation and copywriting skills

Experience using digital channels such as social media and newsletters

An understanding of accessible and inclusive communications

The ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with colleagues and partners

Desirable

Experience working in arts, culture or the charity sector

Knowledge of Arts Council funding or reporting processes

Job Responsibilities

Supporting audience development and building relationships with community groups, partners and local networks

Planning and delivering marketing campaigns across digital, print and face-to-face channels

Creating engaging content for social media, newsletters and the website

Producing accessible, audience-focused marketing materials
