We are looking for an organised individual to join our Audiences, Marketing and Events teams. This is a new role to support these teams as we relaunch after a period of closure, expand our offer at Discover and look to increase our engagement with both new and existing audiences.
The Marketing and Events Assistant will look after the day-to-day needs of marketing our hugely popular Family Arts venue and support the delivery of family events, working with the Marketing and Design Manager and the Creative Programming team. The role would suit someone highly organised, with office admin experience, who has an interest in marketing for the arts, charity or publishing sectors. Some experience working in marketing, communications or event delivery is desirable. This role will provide an opportunity to learn key skills including social media reporting, using a booking system (in this case, Spektrix) and basic design skills using Adobe InDesign. Part time: 4 days (28 hours) per week. Days and hours to be agreed, with weekend work needed 1-2 days per month.
