The Role Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing & Communications Co-ordinator (PT 3 days per week) will provide support to the Marketing & Communications team at Kings Place. The role exists to assist in the set-up and promotion of the Kings Place programme of shows and events, achievement of the box office and audience development targets, brand-building and the development of the venue's profile. The duties of the role will be focused on social media, e-newsletters, digital content creation and providing admin support. The Person This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their marketing experience in an arts venue. You will have a passion for music, arts and culture with an interest in multiple genres including classical, folk, jazz, contemporary, spoken word and comedy. Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 (pro-rata) depending on qualifications and experience. As an organisation, we are in the process of reviewing systems and processes to streamline our administrative work and encourage departmental cooperation. This fixed-term six-month role is designed to support that process and will be reviewed regularly to ensure the right balance of duties and a manageable workload for the role holder. At the end of this period, and synchronised with our work to review procedures, we expect there to be an opportunity for a permanent role for the successful candidate, in-line with our new working procedures. Kings Place operates a hybrid working model. The role is partially venue based, for meetings and collaborative working. Administrative work can be done remotely with line manager approval. Staff work approximately 60% on site and 40% WFH, and our standard office hours are 10-6, but this is open to flexibility.
