RedBobble Arts - Neurodiverse, Female-led Theatre Company, seeks a Marketing Coordinator & Assistant Producer. Part-time / freelance / 2 year contract (with view to extend) £16/ph / 14 hrs per week. Remote with occasional Leeds/Manchester meetings. To lead on Marketing & Project Coordination.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator & Assistant Producer to join our core team. This freelance role will play a pivotal part in supporting RB's neurodiverse Artistic Director with managing socials, developing high-impact marketing strategies & coordinating project logistics.

RedBobble Arts is a female-led, neurodiverse-led theatre company that focuses on socially engaged live performance, creative wellbeing projects, and neurodiverse support. We're dedicated to using the arts to inspire social change, amplify underrepresented voices, and produce innovative, high-quality work that connects with diverse audiences. Our work includes touring theatre productions, multi-arts initiatives, community outreach, and the creation of dynamic programmes like the Female Artist Neurodiverse Network Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities for the role:

Marketing & Promotion: Play a key role in elevating the profile of RedBobble Arts by leading marketing and promotional efforts.

Project Coordination & Support: Assist the Artistic Director in the day-to-day planning, implementation and delivery of RedBobble Arts' theatre productions, Freedom Workshops, and the Female Artist Neurodiverse Network, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.

Communications & Correspondence: Manage project-related correspondence, coordinate meetings, and serve as a primary point of contact for artists, partners, and collaborators, supporting the Artistic Director where needed.

Job Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • A proactive, self-driven individual with prior experience, knowledge, or a strong interest in working in a producing, marketing, or project coordination role within the theatre/arts.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.

  • Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and developing successful marketing strategies across platforms.

  • Strong organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • An ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively within a remote working environment within a small team.

  • A genuine passion for using the arts as a tool for social change, with a commitment to championing underrepresented voices.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing & Promotion: Play a key role in elevating the profile of RedBobble Arts by leading marketing and promotional efforts.

  • Develop and schedule weekly social media content across platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) to promote ongoing projects and events.
  • Monitor social media performance, adjust strategies, and suggest improvements to increase engagement.
  • Create marketing materials, including posters, brochures & flyers, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging.
  • Support the production of promotional campaigns for projects and events, contributing to audience outreach and ticket sales efforts.
  • Lead on website content updates.
