Job Summary

We’re looking for a dynamic marketing professional to lead our communications and evaluation work. The ideal candidate will bring experience in arts or heritage marketing, particularly in reaching ‘hard to reach’ audiences.

Your role will be key in helping us engage diverse groups across the area. The successful candidate will value and work to centre community voice, celebrating achievements and challenges and reflecting lived experience.

Job Requirements

  • Able to demonstrate Key Skills required of all Support Staffordshire staff.
  • Experience of using a range of both Adobe and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience of WordPress or equivalent web content management systems.
  • Experience of Mailchimp or equivalent email platforms.
  • Excellent proof-reading skills with an eye for detail.
  • Good team player, work well under pressure and to deadlines.
  • A passion for and commitment to the arts and the community and voluntary sector.
  • An approachable, personable and clear communicator.
  • Demonstrable success in delivering digital marketing campaigns.
  • Graphic design experience and/or skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends on occasion, and able to travel independently within a rural district.

Job Responsibilities

  • Shape and lead OUTSIDE's marketing and communications strategy.
  • Refresh and implement the marketing plan.
  • Manage budgets and oversee a small team focused on marketing and evaluation
  • Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns (social media, email, website, print).
  • Write and adapt copy, create engaging content (video, audio, images).
  • Design and produce promotional materials with artists and designers.
  • Ensure marketing reaches diverse and underrepresented communities.
  • Support community groups and creatives with their marketing efforts.
  • Make all communications accessible and inclusive.
  • Capture and communicate the impact of OUTSIDE's work through case studies and reports.
  • Input and share evaluation data with partners and stakeholders.
  • Help demonstrate OUTSIDE's legacy and future opportunities.
  • Manage OUTSIDE's social media, website, newsletters, and ticketing platform.
