The Marketing Manager will use their creativity and experience to shape marketing activities across a diverse range of physical and digital channels. They will lead the marketing team as they grow ticket sales and hires, build organisational profile and expand community engagement. The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Executive Director. The Marketing Manager directly line-manages the Marketing Officers. Experience of managing and executing effective marketing and communications campaigns. Support the Executive Director in delivering evidence-led marketing and communications strategies that increase attendance, engagement, commercial hires, and revenue across Barnsley Civic's theatre, exhibitions, events, and participation programmes. Plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns, manage the organisation's brand, oversee communications, media relations, website content, and digital presence, and develop partnerships with external agencies and stakeholders. Manage marketing budgets and contribute to achieving ticket sales, commercial hire, and fundraising targets. Collaborate across departments to promote showcase events and membership campaigns. Line-manage Marketing Officers, providing leadership, supervision, performance management, and professional development support. Analyse audience, sales, and campaign data to inform decision-making, maintain CRM systems, and report on performance and return on investment.
