From The Other are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our independent creative production company. We specialise in innovative creative commissions and live music productions, with a focus on championing underrepresented artists and grassroots culture. Our flagship event, Sounds From The Other City, has been celebrated as one of the UK's leading independent festivals, offering a platform for diverse voices and transformative live experiences for the past 20 years. Since founding as a year-round organisation in 2023, we have further developed our work with some of the most exciting boundary-pushing artists in the UK, whilst continuing to foster the collaborative and community-centred ethos of alternative and DIY music culture. You will be a key part of our team, leading on the planning of our audience-facing event marketing campaigns, and managing various aspects of the B2B marketing of FTO. The role is three days a week, hours are flexible but ideally working each Thursday from our Islington Mill studio in Salford. There may be occasional requirements to work evenings and weekends at events and during busy periods. The Role: We are looking for a well organised, driven and highly competent marketer who can manage a variety of grassroots promotional campaigns for our audience-facing brands and events, ensuring they keep to schedule and budget. You will need to have a clear audience focussed approach with experience of running digital, print and outdoor campaigns. Additionally you will support our directors with the marketing and comms of our core business, From The Other; developing tenders, pitches and funding applications relating to our place-based events and skills development strands (artist residencies and training courses).
