Future Yard delivers a wide-ranging programme of live events, artist development, training initiatives and community activities. Ensuring that all of this work is communicated warmly, professionally and with flair is essential to achieving our mission. You will oversee and manage the marketing of Future Yard's varied live events, programmes and activities, with line management responsibility for two live events marketers. You will lead campaigns promoting Future Yard's training programmes, artist development initiatives, schools programmes, F+B offer and weddings/hires, ensuring sales and recruitment targets are met. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and deliver the marketing and communications strategy for one of the UK's most exciting new music organisations. Working closely with our Director of Audiences, you will plan and deliver creative campaigns across social media, email, web, print and partnerships. You'll work alongside colleagues from across the organisation to make sure our story is told brilliantly and consistently. You will also maintain a robust comms calendar and oversee the efficient use of our audience CRM. The next 12 months represent an exciting period for Future Yard. We are about to embark on a large capital building project, creating new performance and workshop spaces which will allow us to engage with even more people in Birkenhead, Wirral and across the Liverpool City Region. As an organisation who proudly painted THE FUTURE IS BIRKENHEAD on the front of our building when we first moved in, we are excited to build on our promising first chapter. Working within our Leadership Group, this role will report to the Director Of Audiences. Future Yard CIC is a relatively young organisation and has grown into its current position of prominence in just five years. We are an award-winning, grassroots cultural institution, an anchor organisation in Birkenhead's regeneration and an Arts Council England NPO. We are looking for a creative and organised marketing and communications professional with several years of experience to undertake this role. Ideally you will have relevant experience within the music/creative industries, although candidates with transferable and appropriate experience from other sectors are also encouraged to apply. We are particularly looking for an individual who shares Future Yard's values and is/has: Lead Future Yard's communications with warmth, professionalism and flair, overseeing all marketing activity across the organisation. Line-manage two marketing officers, ensuring delivery of effective campaigns that meet sales targets. Oversee campaigns for Future Yard's skills and training programmes (Sound Check, New Noise, Band Clubs, Schools) and artist development (PROPELLER), alongside delivery teams. Support promotion of Mosh Tots live shows, Sustainability Programme (Future Planet events, Roadmap), Neighbourhood Campaign, F+B offer, rehearsal studios and venue hire. Deliver comms around key strategy documents (Annual Impact Report, Sustainability Roadmap, audience reports) and contribute to their creation. Coordinate campaigns across in-house teams and channels (social, email, website, print), maintaining a balanced comms calendar and brand consistency. Manage budgets, CRM, website content, analytics and the Audience Development Plan. Lead marketing meetings and one-to-ones.
