Marketing Manager

Maternity Cover

Hybrid - this role is full time with the ability to work remotely up to 4 days per week

Suffolk Libraries is an independent and charitable society which runs Suffolk's public library service.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the further development of our approach to marketing, brand and digital activities.

This exciting role would suit an experienced and confident leader with a proven track record of creating, developing and implementing a range of successful small- and large-scale marketing campaigns and communication strategies.

Closing date: 9 March 2025

Interview date: 27 March 2025

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven marketing experience, including traditional, digital, and social channels with extensive B2C experience.
  • Experience of a leadership role in marketing
  • Proven success in the delivery of marketing and digital campaigns and projects
  • Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary/cross-functional teams
  • Ability to understand and manage financial information
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, email marketing, CRM, and web analytics tools

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Effective implementation and delivery of the marketing strategy
  • Oversee and enhance organic SEO strategies.
  • Manage website content and oversee CMS functionality.
  • Management of budgets
  • Maintain relationships with external agencies, suppliers and partners
  • Lead, motivate and develop the team, insuring they individually and collectively deliver against their objectives
  • Support in the wider delivery of organisational training in digital and marketing skills where required.
