Description

Job Summary

Inspirate is a national organisation, and we want our marketing, PR and audience development to match that ambition. We are looking for a consultant to design the strategy that gets us there, covering our events, our stakeholder engagement and our national presence.

Job Description

We see marketing as strategic, not just promotional - as well as campaigns, we want a consultant who will help shape our positioning and how our portfolio of work is understood and prioritised, working closely with our leadership team.

Two moments anchor the year ahead - the launch of a 2023 to 2026 impact report in March 2027 and our festival in July 2027 marking the 80th anniversary of Partition. We want a plan for sustained marketing beyond these moments. National presence is built year round, so the strategy needs to work across the whole calendar, not only around our big events.

We would like you to produce clear, practical strategy we can act on straight away. We would like it to cover:

- Brand architecture. How Inspirate as our overarching brand and the new festival brand within it work together, and how each is presented to audiences and partners.

- Marketing and communications strategy. Our positioning, key messages, priority audiences and the channels to reach them.

- A marketing calendar. Clear lead-in times, so campaigns for each project have clear milestones, especially for the flagship festival.

- Audience development plan. How we grow and diversify our audiences, increase footfall, and reach communities we do not yet reach.

- PR and media plan. How we build national profile and press coverage around our key moments.

- Festival 2027 campaign plan. The first full test of the strategy in action.

- Investment and stakeholder communications. How our story and impact report win sponsors, funders and partners.

We expext to pay a day rate of approximately £300 per day, with a maxium budget of £9,000 (approximately 30 days).
