As our Membership and Systems Coordinator you'll be the friendly face and tech-savvy brain behind our growing membership programme. Working closely with our Executive Director, you'll help to manage, grow, nurture and and diversify our paid cultural membership community through thoughtful communication, engaging real life and online events and smart digital systems (use and analysis). You'll also be passionate about driving lasting change, igniting meaning for the good of the Liverpool city region arts and culture sector, and in turn its connected communities. This role is 4 days per week. Education & Training: Experience: Skills: Personal Attributes: The Community Engagement Manager oversees all aspects of membership lifecycle management while optimising digital systems and analysing engagement data to drive growth. This role involves creating seamless onboarding experiences, maintaining online community spaces, generating data-driven reports, implementing communication strategies, and supporting diverse event formats. The position requires strong technical skills to manage CRM systems and automated workflows, combined with excellent communication abilities to maintain consistent brand voice across platforms. Beyond core responsibilities, the manager coordinates with external partners, maintains organisational archives, and demonstrates flexibility to support broader team objectives as needed, serving as both a technical resource and community builder for the organisation. A relevant degree is helpful but not essential. Industry-specific training (e.g. CRM, membership growth, events management) is highly valued.
Experience with CRM systems, digital tools, automation, and data-informed decision making is key. Practical experience in membership coordination, event planning, and marketing may outweigh formal qualifications. Familiarity with SEO, web development, email marketing, and data privacy is important.
Strong written and verbal communication, project and event management, and digital proficiency are required. Must be analytical, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks. Should work well independently and in a team.
