https://turf-projects.com/moss/ - MOSS (Makers Of Stuff Squad) is Turf's collective of learning disabled adult artists. MOSS and Turf have been working together since 2014 to create work inspired by their lives in Croydon. Turf facilitates space for MOSS to hold regular workshops for the artists on Friday afternoons where they are supported in their own artistic practices and work on collaborative projects. MOSS also have a studio at Turf, where MOSS artists often work on their individual projects and commissions.

This role is to assist the https://turf-projects.com/artist/daisy-young/ - MOSS Lead and current https://turf-projects.com/artist/uma/ - MOSS Assistant to set up and run the Friday afternoon sessions and to support the https://turf-projects.com/moss/ - MOSS artists in their artistic practices. Experience of working with learning disabled adults is essential.

Contract: Part-time fixed term freelance contract of 4 months, with potential to extend subject to funding and performance.

Pay: £328 per month, delivered over 4 half days per month.

Hours: 16 hours per month, usually worked on Friday afternoons.

Location of work: At Turf Projects in Croydon.
