Komola Collective will be exploring multimedia elements in the R&D of ITCH, a new solo play by Turkish playwright Elvin Aydo du, directed by Filiz Ozcan, with plans to develop the work into a future touring production. ITCH follows a woman navigating power and pressure in a male-dominated workplace. The production uses projection mapping, animation, sound, and movement to express her internal experience and external challenges. This R&D phase will focus on how these creative elements can work together in a visually immersive and emotionally resonant performance environment. Working closely with the Director, the Movement Coordinator will help develop a distinct physical language for the protagonist. The role includes pre-briefing, in-room collaboration and a post-project debrief. This is a freelance, short-term position in East London across 3 days during the final week of the R&D period.
