A role to include marketing, bid writing and running our weekday and evening music schools
We are seeking a passionate individual who is interested in furthering the work we do here at HMS. This full time role would include working on our marketing strategy, fundraising and running our Weekday and Saturday music centres. It is a varied and exciting role which we are pleased to offer. Essential
- Demonstrable evidence of writing successful bids for philanthropic, charitable or public sector funded projects.
- Demonstrable evidence of managing projects from concept to evaluation.
- Awareness of funding opportunities across central and local government and in the charity sector.
- Demonstrate evidence of marketing, promotion and organisation of events.
Desirable
- Awareness of safeguarding and education issues.
- Experience of successful advocacy to develop approaches benefiting from philanthropic funding.
- Professional or out-of-work commitment to or active participation in culture or the arts.
Qualifications
- There are no statutory qualification requirements for this post but candidates will beexpected to demonstrate English and Maths skills beyond GCSE level.
- To develop fundable projects with measurable impacts;
- To identify new income and funding opportunities that meet strategic objectives and funders' data gathering and reporting requirements. To manage the process including bid-writing and project set-up
- To support the marketing of all the different areas of work that Havering Music School deliver
- To lead the Saturday and Weekday Music Centres
- To control music centre timetabling and Summer School timetable
- To support Managers with day to day running of Havering Music School
