Are you a talented vocalist with a passion for inspiring the next generation of young performers? Little Voices Leicester is seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled Musical Theatre Singing Tutor to join our team in August 2026!

Job Description

Location: Glenfield and Whetstone, Leicester
Pay: £25 per hour (starting wage)
Hours: After-school and week-nights, term time. Additional opportunities available during school holidays.
Mondays 4:30 - 6:30 pm in Whetstone
Wednesdays 4:00 - 6:00/6:45 pm in Glenfield
Thursdays 4:00 - 5:30 pm in Glenfield

Teach singing and musical theatre to small groups of children aged 4-16, grouped by age/ ability. Prepare children for Showcases and LAMDA exams.

Job Requirements

Vocal Expertise: Strong vocal technique and formal vocal training.
Engaging Teaching Style: Excellent teaching skills with the ability to captivate children and manage group behaviour positively.
Reliability: You are organised, punctual, hardworking, and a brilliant team player.
Ideals...
A degree in Performing Arts/Music or significant industry experience.
Experience teaching children and/or knowledge of the LAMDA exam syllabus.
A valid driving licence and access to a car.
Existing DBS, Public Liability Insurance, and training in First Aid/Safeguarding (don't worry if you don't have these yet - we can help arrange them for the right candidate!).
