You would be employed on a sessional basis, equating to approximately 8 hours per week to provide sessional and project support in a variety of settings including schools, colleges and arts venues. This role will initially last for 6 months during which the trainee would receive £15.00 per hour of work. This would be a great role for a graduate or young musician who wants to gain on the job experience in community and educational settings. You will need to be a competent guitarist or pianist and have transport. You will work both alongside Mike McGrother and other musicians in the Blind Tiger CiC team with eventual opportunities to lead sessions independently. This role could be the stepping stone you've looked for, provide additional income for a gigging musician or let you turn your passion into regular income.
