£36,000-£40,000 per annum dependent on experience The National Youth Orchestra is the UK's leading organisation championing orchestral music as a powerful agent for teenage development. We activate teenagers' confidence, optimism and skills to play their part in the world today, through performing and sharing extraordinary music. We are looking for an NYO Inspire Producer to lead the creation and delivery of NYO Inspire and other engagement projects, enabling more teenagers, particularly those who might otherwise miss out, to access free, high-quality orchestral experiences that build musical skill, confidence and leadership. This role is central to NYO's ambition to reach more teenagers, amplify youth voice, and connect young people with orchestral music both as participants and as audiences. You will shape and deliver a varied portfolio across the year, including Inspire residencies, schools' concerts and in-school activity, open-access workshops and sustained youth centre engagement. Working with young people, colleagues, partners and creative practitioners, you will take projects from concept to delivery, ensuring high artistic and educational quality, safe and inclusive practice, and strong participant journeys. This role will suit an ambitious producer with a creative mindset who enjoys making complex things happen, balancing bold ideas with excellent planning, budgets, logistics, risk management and evaluation. You will manage a small staff team and freelance practitioners to deliver consistently brilliant experiences. At NYO, you'll work as part of a supportive, friendly, and adventurous staff team. Learning and personal growth are intrinsic to every role. Hybrid working is applicable to this role, with a flexible and supportive culture. NYO offers a season ticket loan scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, health cash plan, retail and entertainment discounts, and a 24/7 counselling and support helpline.
