Located on Main Street, just a few minutes from Bingley train station, our centre features a 347-seat main auditorium, a 99-seat studio theatre, and fully accessible bars attached to both performance spaces with a growing reputation for inclusive programming and entertainment.

Job Summary
We are seeking two enthusiastic Office Administrative Assistants to join our team at Bingley Arts Centre. These roles are essential in supporting the smooth running of our vibrant arts centre. You will provide administrative, financial, and operational support to ensure our creative programmes, events, and community activities are delivered efficiently. As a first point of contact for visitors and artists, you'll help create an inspiring and welcoming environment.
Working Conditions
- Two part-time positions available (23 hours per week each).
- Hours will be Monday to Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm
- Overtime may be available as a member of Front of House staff during busy periods.
- Based at the arts centre with a collaborative, creative team environment.

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £25,000 per annum pro rata (approx. £14,375 per year for 23 hours/week).

Essential Skills (assessed via application and interview)
- Previous experience in administration or customer service.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Passion for the arts and commitment to community engagement.
Desirable Skills (not essential)
- Experience in arts administration or event coordination.
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero) is a plus.
- Familiarity with posting on social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support
- Prepare and maintain documents, reports, and promotional materials.
- Assist with ticketing systems, bookings, and event registrations (full training given on our ticketing platform).
- Maintain filing systems.
- Monitor office and front-of-house supplies, ensuring stock levels for events.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors for maintenance and equipment needs.
- Financial Administration:
- Create and process invoices for suppliers, artists, and contractors.
- Manage payment tracking and liaise with finance team for timely settlements.
- Process staff and volunteer expense claims accurately and promptly.
- Scheduling & Coordination:
- Organize meetings, rehearsals and event schedules.
- Support coordination of workshops, exhibitions, and performances.
- Visitor Support:
- Greet visitors, artists and community members where required, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
