OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS, Altered Images

We are now accepting proposals for the sixth edition of Altered Images, a London-based festival celebrating experimental film, video art, installations, and live music. We are looking for bold, collaborative artists ready to push the boundaries of sound and vision.

We welcome proposals from:

Musicians - Perform a 20-minute live set reimagining curated films through original music. We are looking for daring, experimental artists across all genres who want to create unique soundscapes that transform the cinematic experience.

Performers - Bring an immersive, sound- and image-driven performance to life. We are seeking artists who want to create unforgettable, sensory-rich experiences inspired by our film selections.

Installation Artists - Showcase digital, media, or audiovisual art in a dedicated space at the event. We are interested in works that enhance the festival's atmosphere and bring a strong visual impact. Proposals will be reviewed for feasibility, creativity, and alignment with our vision.

DJs & Electronic Musicians - We are after those with a passion for techno, dark wave, minimal, industrial, and experimental electronic music. Help us craft an immersive audiovisual experience that blends sound with the spirit of Altered Images.

Collaborations across disciplines (film, music, installation) are encouraged to create integrated, multisensory works.

This is a low-budget but paid independent project. We are only accepting proposals from London-based artists or those who can easily commute, as we cannot cover travel or accommodation.
