The role of Operations Manager is to manage the day-to-day operational needs of Liverpool Cathedral

Job Description

The role of Operations Manager is to manage the day-to-day operational needs of Liverpool Cathedral, providing on the ground support to the Enterprise and Events Team.

You will co-ordinate the Cathedral diary between various departments ensuring no clashes take place and all departments can run smooth operations simultaneously in the various spaces Liverpool Cathedral operates in.

You will be responsible for a team of Vergers, General Assistants and Cleaners

Job Requirements

Experience must include the following:

  • Team leadership
  • Management of multiple departments
  • Complex service management including planning, monitoring, review and improvement of services
  • Managing operations within a public venue
  • Administration.
  • Booking, setting up for and clerking for events and meetings
  • Experience of book keeping, monitoring and reporting income and expenditure
  • Complex diary management

The successful candidate will be:

  • A clear thinker with a systematic approach to work
  • Pro-active and able to work on own initiative
  • Able to work across the organisation and effective at building cohesion and collaboration
  • Creative, with the ability to inspire creativity in others

You must have the ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.
