The Operations Officer (Facilities) plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of Collective's studio, overseeing facilities, front of house activity and operational logistics across teaching, rehearsals and performances. The role ensures the building is safe, welcoming and well maintained for students, staff, artists and visitors. Working across the organisation, you will coordinate freelance duty managers, technical staff and front of house teams, manage room bookings and hires, liaise with contractors and suppliers, and support in-house and external productions. You will respond practically and calmly to operational issues, helping ensure smooth transitions between classes, rehearsals and shows. This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £36,000 per year (pro rata). Collective operates primarily during afternoons, evenings and weekends, and this role reflects those hours. The post is worked across five days per week, with the anticipated working pattern: Monday: 14.30 - 22.00 Wednesday: 09.00 - 17.00 Thursday: 14.00 - 22.00 Friday: 10.00 - 18.00 Saturday: 09.30 - 18.00 Some flexibility is required to meet operational needs, with hours usually falling between 9.00 and 23.00, Monday to Saturday. You will oversee opening and closing procedures, health and safety compliance, facilities maintenance, IT access and operational administration, while also supporting financial processes and internal systems. This is a hands-on role suited to someone organised, proactive and confident working in a busy creative environment, with a strong commitment to Collective's mission and values.
