The Benedetti Foundation is looking for an organised, solutions-focused and experienced production/operational professional to join our team in the new role of Operations Officer.

Job Description

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual who will utilise keen organisational skills to effectively contribute to delivering the Foundation's Programmes and events.

Working closely with our Operations Manager and the wider team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission by co-ordinating Foundation activities from start to finish via considered planning, thorough event preparation and on-the-day execution marked by passion, flair and an eye for detail. Your work will directly enable thousands of participants across the ages to engage with transformative mass music experiences. You will be expected to stay at the forefront of operational best practice and developments and to play a pivotal role in enhancing the delivery of our Programmes.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to shaping the future of The Benedetti Foundation at a time of expansion.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000

Location: This position is home-based with a requirement to join monthly full team meetings in London and meet with the Operations Manager in person as required for the role. You will also be asked to attend Benedetti Foundation events as needed across the UK (travel expenses will be reimbursed).

Job Requirements

The Operations Officer will work closely with the Operations Manager and wider Benedetti Foundation team to:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of the Foundation's Programmes and events, including associated administration, scheduling and logistics
  • To maximise the success of the Benedetti Foundation's work via use of high quality, effective procedures, processes, and operational and administrative functions
  • Be a proactive, self-motivated and supportive member of the Foundation team

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient, consistent, and optimised delivery of activity
  • Periodically attending work around the UK delivering practical operational support
  • Booking travel and accommodation for projects
  • Assisting with the contracting of our freelance staff teams, and with the recruitment, vetting and support of volunteers
  • Assisting in processing DBS/PVG checks in line with the latest guidance
  • Leading on administrating our online Mini Sessions programme
  • Using and contributing to the maintenance of our CRM system by updating contacts and participant data, running reports etc.
  • Contributing to the production of company policies, procedures and risk assessments for events
  • Managing the Foundation's central calendar and inbox including responding to enquiries
  • Proofreading of Foundation copy
  • Staying informed about operational best practices
  • Undertaking day-to-day operational and administrative tasks as required
