Join us as an Outreach and Engagement Officer to connect with schools, communities, and partners! Drive enrollment, fundraising, and corporate engagement while fostering collaboration to ensure all programs thrive and achieve growth.

Job Description

As the Outreach and Engagement Officer, you will be instrumental in
building and strengthening relationships with local schools, community
organisations, and corporate partners to boost participation across all
branches of our school. You will drive community and corporate
engagement, develop fundraising initiatives, and foster a culture of
collaboration and support among students, parents, and stakeholders. Your
ultimate goal is to ensure that every branch thrives while advancing the
mission of our charitable arm.


This role involves supporting the team in creating and implementing
strategies to achieve student enrolment and retention targets. The primary
objective is to ensure that all student places at both our kids'; schools and adult classes are filled, while also generating additional income through corporate team-building assignments and fundraising events.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in community outreach, engagement, or a similar role.
  • A track record of developing successful partnerships.
  • Experience organising events, campaigns, or fundraising activities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences, including corporate clients.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to generate new ideas to drive participation and engagement.
  • Experience of successful sales and persuasion.
  • Strong individual and team working ability, with proven experience of multi-tasking and delivering to tight timelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Imaginative and creative using your ideas to drive new ways of working to engage and maximise opportunities.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Be proficient in putting together PDFs and marketing slides.
  • Enthusiasm for the performing arts and a genuine commitment to our mission and values.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture partnerships with local schools, community organisations, and businesses to promote our programs and recruit students.
  • Create tailored workshops, presentations, and materials to showcase our offerings
  • Act as an ambassador for the school, representing us at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Develop creative strategies to increase student enrolment, ensuring every branch reaches its full potential.
  • Collaborate with staff to identify and address barriers to participation, particularly for underrepresented groups.
  • Arrange ad-hoc visits to our schools and evening classes to strengthen engagement
  • Build relationships with corporate organisations and develop tailored packages to meet the needs of corporate clients
  • Organise and promote engaging fundraising initiatives
  • Establish and manage committees involving adult students and parents of child students to foster collaboration, share feedback, and drive initiatives.
