Unique Community is seeking an Outreach Coordinator who will lead on the DYCE School Workshop program throughout 2025-26. The role involves working with local schools to maintain excellent relationships, coordinating the program delivery and ensuring the work is executed to a high standard.

Unique Community is seeking an Outreach Coordinator who will lead on the DYCE School Workshop program throughout 2025-26. The role involves working with local schools to maintain excellent relationships, coordinating the program delivery and ensuring the work is executed to a high standard. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, inclusive and confident performing arts workshop facilitator and administrator.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Duration: 16hrs p/wk x 35 weeks (August 2025 - July 2026)

Fee: £150 p/day (8hrs p/day) x 2 days p/week x 35 weeks = £10,500 TOTAL

Days: Monday or Tuesday / flexible for the remaining 8 hours

**This role may require occasional evening and/or weekend work.

**Probationary period on all new projects - 1 month & 3 month review

Job Requirements

Skills, Knowledge, Competencies

  • Knowledge, experience and understanding of working with a diverse range of communities including children and young people, adults and marginalised communities
  • A passion for and knowledge of community theatre and inclusive and accessible arts
  • Excellent ability to deliver high quality inclusive workshops
  • Outstanding ability to anticipate challenges and proactively avert crises
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills and ability to prioritise and multitask in a pressured environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Highly competent in technology, including Google Drive applications and databases

Experience

  • Demonstrable administrative experience in a similarly busy / challenging role
  • Demonstrable experience in workshop facilitation
  • Experience in monitoring and controlling budget
  • Experience of managing and supporting a team

Job Responsibilities

  • Book 30 schools (or young person equivalent) for school workshops to be delivered before July 2025.
  • Create and maintain good professional, consistent and fruitful relationships with schools.
  • Assign staff teams to ensure the high quality delivery of all workshops.
  • Work in collaboration with the Artistic Director to develop clear plans for staff teams delivering workshops.
  • Deliver DYCE workshops when time permits.
  • Maintain workshop plans to ensure staff are clear on the delivery throughout their day.
  • Ensure materials are kept fully stocked and prepared for all workshops.
  • Assist in developing a detailed training framework for school workshops to be delivered alongside the Artistic Director.
  • Gather monitoring and evaluation data throughout the lifetime of the project.
  • Produce a detailed report of the project by July 2025
