Location: Croydon Hours: 10 per week Hourly Rate: £12.50 Reports To: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and organised Part-Time Administrator to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our non-profit organisation. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, proactive, and dedicated to helping our team fulfil our mission. This role involves a variety of administrative and operational tasks, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our organisation's impact.

Job Requirements

Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience (non-profit experience preferred).

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.

Experience with design tools such as Canva and CapCut would be welcome.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Comfort with basic financial tracking and reporting.

Job Responsibilities

Office Administration: Handle general office duties, including filing, organising documents, and maintaining office supplies. Update data in our databases (donor information, volunteer records, etc.) and ensure accuracy.

Communication Support: Respond to phone calls, emails, and other inquiries; assist with outgoing communication to donors / potential donors, volunteers, and community partners.

Event Support: Assist in planning, organising, and promoting community events, workshops, and fundraising initiatives.

Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and manage schedules for staff and volunteers.

Financial Assistance: Process basic financial tasks, such as tracking receipts, assisting with budget reports, and processing reimbursements.

Document Preparation: Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other materials as required by the team.

Volunteer Coordination Support: Assist with volunteer scheduling, communication, and tracking volunteer.
