St Paul's Church is recruiting a second Events Duty Manager to work alongside its current part time Duty Manager and freelance team to assist in its diverse and growing events and operations. The purpose of this role is to be the manager on site during our range of events, this includes staff management, customer service and client relationship, alongside front of house and bar responsibilities. This is a venue, events-based role and so will require evening and weekend work on site. This new role provides the opportunity to join a small, friendly, and fun events team which is responsible for delivering up to 700 events a year. There is a broad range of responsibilities, and the position is an essential part of the team ensuring a high standard of delivery across all our events. The role will report to the Venue Manager and will involve some direct, on the ground line management of a freelance events team; this includes bar, front of house and technical staff. This role is focused on event work and so will largely form around evening and weekend work. This includes the requirement to work two weekends a month in conjunction with the other Part Time Duty Manager.
