Partnership Collections Officer, Wrexham Museum and the Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum

We are looking for a Partnership Collections Officer to work with the collections of both Wrexham Museum and the Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum.

This exciting new post will be based at the new purpose-built Collections Store in Wrexham, with some travel as required to the RWF Museum in Caernarfon.

We are looking for someone with a passion for museums and their collections, who will work closely with the Director and Volunteer Trustees of the RWF Museum and the Collections staff at Wrexham Museum to ensure the collections are documented and cared for to the highest standards.

The Partnership Collections Officer will be an enthusiastic and experienced museum professional with strong ICT skills, and a working knowledge of Spectrum and museum cataloguing systems.

This is a 12 month post funded by Welsh Government, with additional funding to attend relevant training courses and events to develop skills and experience.
