Gifted Classes offers dynamic Performing Arts Workshops, collaborating with various educational institutions to inspire young people aged 7 to 18. Our programs ignite creativity, build confidence, and foster talent, making art accessible and enriching for every participant.
We are currently seeking lead music educators and assistants to conduct our creative workshops in Drama, Physical Theatre, and Music. It is preferable that candidates are located in Brixton, Peckham, or the surrounding areas.
Staff are required to work either 1 or 2 hours per session. The lead tutors receive £30 per hour, and assistant tutors receive £20 for the expected hours worked.
QUALITIES OF OUR POTENTIAL AMBASSADORS:
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of music performance
- Music degree or experience of performing to audiences
- Experience in leading workshops within primary, secondary, or higher education environments.
- Ability to communicate instrumental and vocal techniques to students
- Candidates who have obtained QTS through a PGCE, Graduate Teaching Program (GTP), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), QTLS, or a suitable overseas qualification will be prioritised.

- Proficiency in managing classroom of 15 students
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To evaluate the progress of all students' engagement throughout the workshops.
- Ability to lead a workshop and rehearsals in preparation for a theatre performance.
- Supporting the dynamics within the classroom and providing performance reports on each student once every fortnight.
- Liaising with staff to ensure a high level of communication during the term of each contract.
- Providing availability to undergo on-boarding measures and training protocols such as CRB checks, safe guarding, health & safety and curriculum implementations.
- Expressing an attitude of excellence to engage and encourage a fun and interactive environment for the students.
- To establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/ carers to gather and report information as instructed for the progress of the students.
