Job Summary

The People & Belonging Adviser is a core role within the People Team, providing generalist support across the full range of people activities, coupled with expertise and leadership in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEI&B).

Job Description

Working closely with the Head of People, People Business Partner and People Operations Coordinator, the role requires someone who is comfortable operating as a trusted People generalist with an ability to support and respond to organisational needs. Alongside this, the role holds a preferred area of expertise in DEI&B, supporting the implementation of agreed inclusion priorities and ensuring they are sustained over time.

The successful candidate will support and deliver people initiatives across employee relations, learning and development, wellbeing, engagement, recruitment and people operations, while ensuring that DEI&B is consistently embedded into everything we do.

Job Requirements

Experience
Experience working in a People / HR generalist role, supporting a broad range of people activities
Practical experience supporting or delivering DEI&B, embedded within day-to-day people practice rather than standalone projects
Experience coordinating or administering learning and development activity, including managing platforms, tracking participation and supporting programme delivery
Experience supporting employee engagement and communications, such as newsletters, intranet content and staff communications
Experience working in a busy, fast-paced organisation, managing multiple priorities and responding to changing demands

Skills
Strong People (HR) generalist knowledge, with the confidence to support across a wide range of people matters
A working understanding of UK employment law and the ability to apply policy and process pragmatically
Credibility and confidence to act as a trusted adviser, building effective relationships with colleagues
