We are very excited to advertise for a passionate and dedicated People Operations Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead the People team in all operational aspects of supporting staff at Chichester Festival Theatre.

People Operations Manager (Maternity Cover)

Full Time

£32,000 - £36,000 dependent on experience

The role will be part of a small team that leads our organisation in welcoming and nurturing our People. It encompasses managing the full employee lifecycle - from onboarding and inductions to employee relations, probation reviews, appraisals, reporting, and delivering the team's operational plans. The role is key in helping to drive our culture and core values.

Job Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Demonstrable successful track record of working as a HR professional in an SME
  • Experience of working as a HR Generalist
  • Experience of working to targets and motivating others to achieve them
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • An up-to-date knowledge of employment law and an ability to disseminate it in layman's terms
  • Experience of creating and delivering HR related training
  • Excellent communication skills, with tact, confidence and maturity to liaise with a wide
  • range of people
  • Flexible and self-motivated, able to prioritise and plan a challenging workload, as well as
  • communicate deadlines and any support needs
  • Experience of employee relations and comfortable with leading and supporting casework
  • Warm, confident and driven, happy to be part of a team committed to our values and
  • mission. Demonstrated commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
  • A love of theatre
