Philanthropy Manager London, EC2V £49,820 per annum Heritage is for everybody, and we are here for heritage. We are looking for a Philanthropy Manager to join our team. The role is full-time and permanent, working 36 hours per week. What you'll be doing as part of the team: Managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, major gift prospects and donors. Working to agreed activity and financial targets, cultivating and soliciting prospects for gifts at the five, six and seven figure level, across capital and revenue fundraising. Developing bespoke and detailed cultivation strategies to engage prospects and build enduring relationships with English Heritage. Ensuring exemplary stewardship of all donors for whom the post holder is the primary relationship manager. Acting as a shadow fundraiser for the relationships held by other senior colleagues, supporting the development of these relationships through bespoke cultivation and stewardship documents and plans. In conjunction with colleagues in the Philanthropy team, contributing to the pipeline for prospects moving between mid-level giving (£2,000 - £12,000) and major gifts (£12k and upwards). Ensuring all interactions with prospects are recorded on the departmental database in a timely manner, and all follow-up activity is acted upon. Acting as an ambassador for major gift fundraising at English Heritage, building strong relationships with non-fundraising colleagues across the charity.
