This job is attached to a Graduate to industry training programme. Please only apply if you are currently at drama school/conservatoire/professional training, or have recently graduated. If you are a junior teacher, without formal training, we also want to hear from you. You will be responsible for timetabling your own students, with teacher training from the director. You will receive professional development opportunities (currently focussed on vocal tech, acting through song and professional vocational qualifications) completely free of charge, as part of the training programme. Freelance hours ranging from 1-10 per week Pay scale dependent on lesson length and level ranging from £22-£30/h Essential: - Drivers license + access to own vehicle - Experience with children - Qualified in piano (Graded examinations or equivalent experience) - Music theory qualification - Organised and efficient - A passion for music/musical theatre, and have clear vocal goals - Teach piano in 1-2-1 settings to children - Timetable your own client list - Respond to work emails from clients - Keep on top of professional development assessments, deadlines and homework Send a CV and short cover letter (no more than two paragraphs) to Miss Nellie Coss at [email protected]Job Summary
