Store Street Framing (Brodie and Middleton Ltd) are looking for a Framer to work full-time based largely based at Our Main Workshop in Tottenham N17, but on occasion working at our cleanroom mounting and fitting up workshop/ office and showroom On Store Street, Bloomsbury, WC1E, within the Russell and Chapple Shop. Minimum 3 years Framing experience required; or direct carpentry/joinery experience required. Woodwork skills essential. Salary based on experience. Minimum 3 years Framing experience, or extensive Woodworking skills, direct carpentry/joinery experience required. Organisation skills and deadline meeting skills (time management skills) with the ability to prioritise. Communicate clearly and work within a enthusiastic small team. Willingness to learn new skills and bring skills. Working overtime when necessary. Good proactive attitude. Computer literate Cutting, Joining and using standard Framing machinery on a daily basis. High end Framing joinery techniques and skills. Wood Preparation and hand-finishing. Frame Restoration. Complying at all times with health and safety requirements. Stock Management, and ordering. Workshop maintenance and cleaning. Communicating efficiently within a small team, reporting to the Framing Manager. Wrapping and packing frames for transport between locations.
