In 2026 E2M will be starting a brand new Pottery Club. E2M are looking for an experienced pottery/ceramics enthusiast to run our Pottery Club team, planning and delivering sessions fortnightly.

Key information:

Role: Pottery Club Facilitator - Freelance Contract

Rate of pay: £100 per session

Contract Start/end date: Ongoing Year-Round (Starting 17th March)

Working hours/location: Every other Tuesday evening, 5-7pm. Work location is E2M Centre, 56 Church Street, Lancaster, LA1 1LH. (Twice per year working a weekend to support our projects)

Type of contract: Freelance contract*

The Pottery Club will be made up of approximately 10 enthusiastic young people aged 11-18, who will be supported by a team of volunteers and a workshop assistant.

Job Requirements

E2M are seeking a candidate with pottery experience, an interest in working with young people, excellent communication and organisational skills, who is highly motivated and innovative.

Candidates must be able to undertake an enhanced DBS check and must also undertake mandatory training in first aid, safeguarding and GDPR.

Other optional training resources will be available too.

The successful candidate must provide references from two referees.
