We're hiring a producer for our ACE funded play, GET BETTER, which will be at Brighton Fringe May 19th&20th.

GET BETTER is an hour long, four-hander scripted theatre piece centring themes of disability, gender, and truth. The play follows Hazel, a woman in her 20's working in a caf , grappling with chronic fatigue and trying to maintain her dreams of opening a caf of her own with her best friend.

This is a freelance role.

The budgeted days are 7 full days worked between approximately April 10th-May 22nd.

The daily fee is £289, total fee £2.023

Closing date April 6th 10pm.

Applicants will be informed of their success shortly after the closing date. If successful, applicants will be offered a remote interview between April 7th-April 10th.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate would be:
- Someone available to start work as soon as possible after the closing date.
- Someone with experience producing Fringe theatre.
- Someone with strong communication skills, compatible with neurodivergent clients.
- Someone with experience working on ACE funded projects.
- Someone who is organised, and works with initiative and empathy.
- Based in Brighton, UK.

Job Responsibilities

The role of Producer will be involve helping with logistics, organisational/admin tasks, schedule management, booking rehearsals, etc.

You will be mainly working with the director and writer of the play, Mads. Mads is chronically ill and AuDHD, and so you will be assisting Mads with production related tasks needed for the play.

You also could be asked to help with ACE related tasks, such as compiling receipts or filling in forms.
