Job Summary

Snap-Elastic looking for a producer to work with the artistic directors over an 18 month period to plan and manage tours of their existing work, develop the company’s Mycelium Network support programme and begin development of future creative project

Job Description

We are now looking for a third valued member of the small Snap-Elastic team. Working with the two Artistic Directors, Eszter Marsalko and Claire Willoughby, they will help imagine and shape the ethos, vision and future direction of the company.

As a growing company with lots of new learning and opportunities around us, we are looking for someone who is keen to become a real part of Snap-Elastic on this next stage of our journey. The producer we're looking for enjoys thinking creatively and strategically. They have excellent organisational and administrative skills, and are confident with time management and setting priorities. Over the 18 month contract, the producer will work with the artistic directors to plan and manage tours of existing work, develop the company's Mycelium network support programme and begin development of future creative projects.

The role offers variety, genuine influence and agency working in a dynamic, caring and supportive company that values individual opinion, collaboration and imagination.

We recognise that people from marginalised communities including but not limited to global majority, disabled and working-class candidates, remain underrepresented in Scotland's arts and culture workforce relative to their presence in the wider population. We are committed to addressing this imbalance and strongly encourage applications from candidates who share these lived experiences. Where candidates meet the essential criteria for this role, we will use positive action (in line with the Equality Act 2010) to ensure fair and equitable consideration throughout our recruitment process.
