This is an opportunity to join the team of a unique organisation, at a unique time in its life cycle. The Yard Theatre is doubling the size of its premises, with ambitious growth plans for earned income driven by its artistic programme.
The Producer plays a central role in bringing our artistic vision to life - overseeing the planning, budgeting, and delivery of in-house and co-produced productions. Working closely with the Artistic Director, Executive Director, Senior Producer and creative teams, the Producer manages projects from initial idea to final performance, ensuring artistic ambition is matched by financial and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a proactive, organised, and creatively engaged individual who thrives in a fast-paced producing environment and has a passion for developing artists and audiences alike.
Essential: Minimum three years' experience of producing theatre productions that have had three week+ runs in small-medium scale venues. Experience of managing creative teams and freelancers. Experience in managing budgets of £100k+. Demonstrable communications and negotiation skills. Demonstrable organisation skills. Experience working with marketing teams to sell theatre shows. A demonstrable interest in theatre and The Yard's work. Desirable Experience raising investment for theatre productions. Relationships with regional theatres and/or West End theatres and producers.
