Help programme, promote & run a new concert series in Bath and Bristol!

Job Description

Bristol/Bath concert series Postclassical Assembly are thrilled to have been awarded PRSF Early Career Promoter Funding for our 2025 concert season.

We need someone Bristol-based who can help organise, promote and run a 4-8 concerts per year season.

This is a new concert series and we're still figuring out exactly what all the roles will involve. We can be flexible for the right person- the most important thing is a strong interest in platforming composer/performers in this genre.

We anticipate this averaging 5-8 hrs/wk, ramping up as shows approach. PRSF support is budgeted at £150/day or £18.75/hr.

Job Requirements

  • Interest/experience in performances inspired by classical music
  • Interest/experience in other musical genres
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Experience with in-person marketing
  • Experience with digital marketing
  • Interest/experience with audience development
  • Interest/experience with running live music events

Job Responsibilities

  • Help curate, promote and run concerts in Bristol & Bath
  • Research and liase with venues, radio, local press, and artists
  • Flyer related concerts - evenings required for this, you are welcome to form a street team and delegate some of this if you know reliable and interested people
