Description
We are looking for a Producing Assistant to join our Public Programming team on a part time (24 hours per week), 18 month fixed term basis. Salary: Up to £18,000 (FTE of £30,000)
As a Producing Assistant you will be providing professional and efficient administrative support whilst acting as a point of contact for the Public Programming team.
The Public Programming team curate a number of flagship festivals and seasons as well as a year round free to access multi-artform programme at Southbank Centre. The team is made up of programmers and creative producers who work across public spaces, ticketed auditorium shows, and are also responsible for free and ticketed shows for children aged 0-11 and their families.
Key skills that will help you in this role include:
- Demonstrable administration skills, with a methodical approach and attention to detail.
- Demonstrable IT skills (including MS Office and Google Drive)
- Confident communication skills and ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
- Demonstrable ability to proactively manage workload, managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines.
Main responsibilities include:
- To lead on administrative tasks and maintaining centralised processes for the Public Programming team
- Supporting the Head of Public Programming with diary management, some inbox management and other ad hoc support
- Support with financial processes, including updating budget trackers, managing purchase orders, invoices and charge sheets as required by the Producers
- To proactively and flexibly support arising day to day needs of the Public Programming Team, including with the delivery of some live events and projects in Southbank Centre's public spaces as allocated
