Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg is hiring a talented and creative part-time Production Assistant for a freelance role in central London 2-3 days per week, with the possibility of hybrid working.

Job Description

We are hiring a talented and experienced Production Assistant to work on Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg's Pollinator Pathmaker in the production of digital, physical and planted artworks. The ideal candidate will have excellent design and research skills, expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, experience with website Content Management Systems (CMS) and basic coding, familiarity with AI tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to solve problems and meet project deadlines. Knowledge of plants and experience in landscape architecture are beneficial.

Job Requirements

  • Postgraduate with 3+ years of practical experience;
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, After Effects, etc.). Knowledge of Adobe Fresco is a plus;
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools for digital art;
  • Mac and Google Workspace literate;
  • Experience with website CMS platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, etc.) and basic coding knowledge (HTML, CSS);
  • Knowledge of additional design software or tools (e.g., Figma, Blender) is a plus;
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions while bringing creative problem-solving;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a creative team;
  • Ability to communicate instructions clearly in writing and create thorough documentation and manuals;
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong research skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively, manage and liaise with producers, external stakeholders, fabricators, subcontractors, and other technical experts;
  • Render and visualise projects and create CAD drawings for fabricators and commissioners;
  • Graphic design and digital asset creation, including photography, sound and video editing;
  • Update project website using CMS platform and implement basic HTML/CSS coding to customise web pages, troubleshoot issues, and work with website developers;
  • Create installation rider technical drawings/diagrams, including detailed landscape design and planting layouts, documentation and manuals;
  • Undertake research;
  • Maintain excellent project filing, documentation and databases;
  • Manage timelines and deliverables to meet project deadlines, ensuring clear communication with the artist and other stakeholders throughout the process;
  • Adapt to changing project needs and problem-solve efficiently.
