The key features of this lynchpin role are to support the Artistic Director and General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in theatre, including experience in a production office and within a producing environment, excellent communication skills and business acumen. The post-holder must also be prepared to undertake general administrative tasks as part of a varied role in a creative environment. The candidate should also be prepared to receive training and assist the Box Office team. The successful applicant will need to be highly organised, personable and IT-proficient. We are looking for an experienced candidate with a passion for theatre. Strong empathy and communication skills are essential. You need to remain calm under pressure, coping with multiple demands and tight deadlines. It's important that you can work on your own initiative without close supervision and are comfortable and confident with social media. The role would benefit from somebody with past Stage/Company Management skills. Alongside office duties, the organisation of building maintenance is crucial. Working hours are 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, but there will be an expectation to work some evenings and weekends as required. Salary will depend on the level of experience. Between £30-34k.
