Job Description

The Programme Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of all aspects of office administration, providing
additional support and expertise to other core members of staff, updating relevant data, liaising with all staff and freelancers for the efficient delivery of courses, assisting with external hires and events and liaising with IT support.

This is a fulltime position on a 40-hour work week.

Standard Working Hours: 9.30am to 5.30pm (this role sits under the flexible office coverage agreement and so may be 8.30am to 4.30pm or 10am to 6.00pm - according to team agreement
on a weekly basis).

These times may alter, and each day's precise hours may vary according to the demands of the day. There is a degree of flexibility each working week. Occasional evening and weekend working
is expected with notice for Q&As/external events, auditions, and performances.

Job Requirements

Essential Experience:
A competent user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
Administrative experience; Working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems and initiating effective ideas for
improved ways of working; Experience of creating accessible written material, resources and records accurately and
to a high standard. E.g. emails, letters, meeting agendas.

Desirable Experience:
Some experience of financial administration; Interest in working in a creative environment, particularly theatre or the arts.

Qualities:
A highly organised approach with excellent attention to detail; Ability to build effective working relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally; Confident and effective communicator with the ability to work well as part of a team; Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Proactive, flexible and confident communicator.

Skills:
Adept IT skills; People skills; Systems-oriented; Juggling long term projects; Flexibility

Job Responsibilities

The main purpose of the role is to support the effective delivery of DSL programmes through high-quality administration, communication and coordination. The post-holder acts as a central point of contact for staff, students and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate records, smooth day-to-day operations and a high-quality student experience.
