Job Description

Britten Sinfonia is looking for an energetic and meticulous Programme Manager for its Learning and Participation projects. The role holder will lead the planning and delivery of Britten Sinfonia's programmes involving children and young people. Working with composers, directors, and animators, you will create engaging and innovative performances for school pupils across the East of England. You will build strong partnerships with Music Education Hubs and cultural organisations regionally and nationally, ensuring projects are tailored to meet the unique needs of diverse communities. Working closely with the Learning & Participation Director, you will explore the role schools play in rural communities and develop orchestral programmes that foster greater connectivity and engagement between different segments of the community. This is an action-based role, requiring a deep understanding of local communities to deliver impactful and responsive solutions to their needs.

You will also support team members during busy times, helping to maintain a balanced and manageable workload. Our collaborative approach to project delivery ensures that everyone pitches in, prioritising the wellbeing of everyone involved.
