Job Opportunity: Project Administrator (Part-Time)

Organisation: Pangaea Sculptors' Centre

Project: A 3D-5D Learning Revolution: Sculpture as a Tool for Wider Learning - Industrial Research Phase

Contract: October 2025 - 31 March 2026

Hours: 2 days per week (fixed-term)

Salary: £30,000 per annum pro rata (2 days/week). Includes 3% opt-in pension contribution.

Location: Coventry (Daimler Powerhouse) with hybrid working and occasional travel.

About the Project

Pangaea Sculptors' Centre is delivering the industrial research phase of A 3D-5D Learning Revolution - an ambitious new education model that uses sculpture-led, cross-curricular learning to connect creativity, sustainability, and technology in schools. Supported by DCMS and regional partners, this six-month phase will pilot the programme in schools across North Coventry and Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

The Role

We are looking for a highly organised Project Administrator to support the delivery of this exciting project. Working closely with the Project Manager, Director, and Strategic Partnerships Lead, you will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, coordinate communications, and keep finances and logistics on track.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Experience in project support, ideally in education, culture, or non-profit contexts.
  • Confident communicator with good digital skills (Office, social media, website updates).
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a small, collaborative team.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in administration or project support (preferably within education, culture, or non-profit settings).

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Competence with digital tools, including Microsoft Office, social media, and website content management systems.

  • Experience with budget monitoring, record-keeping, or financial administration.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.

  • A proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused approach.

  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

  • Willingness to occasionally travel for project-related activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling, calendars, and logistics for meetings, workshops, residencies, and training sessions.
  • Support finance processes, including expense tracking and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, contracts, and funder records.
  • Assist with partner communications and meeting administration.
  • Support dissemination through website updates, social media posts, and newsletters.
  • Provide administrative support for artist/educator training sessions and industry/education partner events.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and data management policies.
