Description

Job Summary

Stagetext is looking for someone passionate about theatre and deaf access, to be our new Project Delivery Manager (1 year maternity cover starting mid-October 2026).

Job Description

Stagetext is a national charity advocating for and providing access to the arts for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver a portfolio of funded projects that will increase access to arts and culture for deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing people across England.

You'll play a key role in expanding access to theatre and cultural experiences for thousands of deaf, deafened, and hard of hearing people across England.

Working closely with the Deputy CEO, Programme Managers, and external partners, you will coordinate the successful delivery of several strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with funder requirements.

The role combines project delivery, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and performance reporting. You will work with theatres, cultural organisations, captioners, trainers, and funders to help deliver projects that create lasting change across the cultural sector

This a part-time, hybrid role working 28 hours a week. We are ideally looking for someone with lived experience of deafness, and at least three years' experience coordinating, delivering or managing projects.

This is a one-year maternity cover, starting mid-October. The salary is £28,000 p.a. (£22,400 pro rata) plus 7% employer pension. We are a small, friendly, deaf-led team who love what we do. Fancy joining us? If you wish to find out more information, please contact Head of Insight and Development, [email protected].

The deadline for applications is Sunday 9th August midnight. Interviews will be held w/c 24th August.
