Description
Hartlepool Borough Council is looking for a highly organized and motivated Project Development Coordinator to manage key project documentation, assist with grant administration, and coordinate a range of activities to ensure the successful delivery of the Tides of Change project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Strategic Development Manager in project coordination and administration, including grant funding and financial processes.
- Maintain project documentation, including timelines, milestones, and risk management strategies.
- Act as the key point of contact for contractors, architects, and project staff, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Monitor project progress, attend site meetings, and facilitate timely decision-making.
- Contribute to grant applications, progress reports, and post-completion activities such as project evaluations and promoting the project.
- Represent the project at required events.
- Support the delivery of the Activity Plan where required.
Tides of Change is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to secure development funding to progress our ambitions for the Museum of Hartlepool and PS Wingfield Castle to support the regeneration of Hartlepool's historic waterfront.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to Hartlepool's historic waterfront regeneration while making a lasting impact on maritime, heritage and culture career pathways in the Tees Valley.
This is a fixed term contract till November 2025 with the possibility of extension to 2029 subject to further funding.
Secondments are welcome and the role is eligible for hybrid working.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent project management skills, with experience in coordinating complex projects.
- Is able to maintain accurate records, manage budgets, and work with multiple stakeholders.
- Has strong communication skills and can effectively liaise with contractors, funders, and museum staff.
- Has an eye for detail and a passion for supporting heritage and cultural development.
