(pro rata) Contract Type: Fixed-term contract, 12 months Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week Closing Date: 10am BST, 17 September 2025 Interview Date: 2 and/or 3 October 2025 Start Date: 3 November 2025 About the Role We are looking for a Publishing Assistant to join our publications department and assist with every stage of the book-publishing lifecycle - from acquisition to publication and promotion. You will be joining a small, productive team responsible for producing the PMC's list of high-quality illustrated books and catalogues. The team also manages the transition of selected backlist titles onto Yale University Press's Art & Architecture ePortal. The PMC has a long history of publishing peer-reviewed scholarship on the histories of British art and architecture from the medieval period to the present day. Our mission is to publish research that will contribute new knowledge, original ideas and critical thinking to the field of British art studies. You will report to the Senior Editor and be responsible for providing essential administrative and editorial support that will help to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of the PMC's book publications.
