Previous experience in marketing or administrative roles; experience in publishing is preferable but not essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident in using social media platforms and marketing tools, with strong visual sense and ideas for content; experience using Adobe or Canva to design content is preferable but not essential.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Language skills are a plus, but not essential. Job Responsibilities
Liaise with event venues, authors, and translators to organize events.
Book travel and accommodation for visiting authors and translators, coordinate signings and publicity appearances, and provide support during their stay in the UK.
Manage social media accounts and content schedules, growing our online following by developing promotional content and engaging with our audience.
Assist the co-publishers with a bi-weekly newsletter, ensuring timely delivery to subscribers.
Monitor marketing and promotional successes, keeping the sales team informed of developments.
Compile catalogues, presentations, and information sheets for various titles.
Keeping the website up to date.
Track literary prize deadlines and manage entries.
Assisting with funding applications.
